Women’s Ministry, also known as “WOW” (Women of the Word), partners with women, ages 15 years and older, to be active in the life and ministry of the church.
Purpose Statement: As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church and society.
Monthly events:
- 3rd Wed. @ 12:45 p.m. – Alpha Circle Bible Study (at GSLC)
- 3rd Thur., @ 7 p.m. – Hope Circle Bible Study (at Member’s Homes).
- 4th Tue., @ 6 p.m. – WOW Board Meeting (at GSLC)
- WOW boutique and bake sale (Fall)
- WOW Potato Bar and Auction (Winter)
- Lenten Soup Suppers (Spring)
