Day 41 - Understanding Daniel

Step 1 - Read Daniel 1, watch the video, and ask, “Why didn’t Daniel want to eat the king’s choice
food?” (Hint: Quickly review Leviticus 11).

Day 42 - Drawing things together (Summary for days 1-41)

Step 1 - Read Nehemiah 9 and ask, “How does this chapter summarize Israel’s history in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament)?”

Step 2 - Read Nehemiah 10:28-39, watch the video, and ask, “What did God’s people learn about
themselves as they renewed their Covenant with God?”
