During this challenging time of COVID-19, Good Shepherd’s Family Ministry is here to partner with you to raise Christ-centered kids.
Although our formal ministry activities and classes have been suspended until the fall, we are still available to walk alongside you and your family during this time of crisis. If you need to reach any of the GSLC Family Ministry team, please contact the church office at (801-255-8181) and we will get back with you as soon as possible.
During this time when we are not able to meet together in our usual way, our Family Ministry team will partner with families by continuing to provide the ideas, discussion questions and information you need to carry on the conversation at home. Our desire is to provide you with resources and ideas that will help make this time fruitful and encouraging. Below you will find various resources for you and your family. We will update this information regularly so please, check back often.
Good Shepherd’s Family Ministry is here to partner with you to raise Christ-centered kids. We are eager to come alongside you to nurture your children in their Christian faith. Studies confirm the obvious: Parents are the primary faith-shaper in the lives of their children. The biggest influence in your child’s spiritual development is the parent/caregiver.
Children learn how to live by watching their parents. They soak up our attitudes and watch our example. Consider these words from Deuteronomy 6:6-7.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (NIV)
