Good Shepherd offers many ways to connect with others throughout the month.  Almost all of the groups below are lead by congregation members who feel a call towards leadership. ALPHA CIRCLE, WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

This Bible study is held at Good Shepherd on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. It includes a wonderful afternoon of lunch, fellowship and God's word.

EXPLORER'S BIBLE STUDY

Explorer's Bible Study is a non-profit, non-denominational organization which invites all people to a closer walk with God through in-depth Bible study. We meet every Tuesday from 9:30–11:30 am, with a break for the Christmas holiday. This year's Study is ""The Only True God."" This Bible study was written by Marni McKenzie with DVD lessons by Marni McKenzie and discussion led by Donna Kay Lipsey.

""We are commanded not only to know God but also to love the Lord, our God (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:23). However, we cannot love someone we do not know. We cannot obey someone from whom we have never received direction. We cannot know someone intimately if we depend only on our distorted perceptions of his activities.""

MEN’S BAGELS, BIBLE STUDY & BROTHERHOOD

Men’s Bagels, Bible Study & Brotherhood is now studying “The New Testament You Never Knew". This study has been on hold, but will reconvene on November 21 in the Fellowship Hall inside the church. It meets every Saturday from 9AM to 10AM. We will be looking to delve deeper into the historical setting of the Gospels, the Epistles, and the New Testament as a whole. We will be utilizing Rev N. T. Wright & Michael F. Bird’s “The New Testament You Never Knew Study Guide with DVD: Exploring the Context, Purpose, and Meaning of the Story of God.” Study guides are available or you can download the study guide from Google Play Books or Amazon Kindle. We also allow time to pray as a group for and with each other. Men come when they can. We are “Gospel” not “Law”!
