I AM the Life!

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6) "
Jesus is life: In Him, we discover our reason for living.
Undeniably, life includes difficult periods of burden-bearing and cross-carrying. But even in those times...especially in those times, Jesus grants us an unimaginable peace when we place our trust in Him. John 16:33 tells us, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
The life He wants for us is not a “get-through-it-and-just-survive” quality of life. His desire is for us to experience abundant life. By using our unique God-given gifts to share about the victorious life that is offered to all who go to Him in repentance and love. We are fulfilling His purpose for our lives. Acts 20:24 says, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Friends, Jesus is the life. He is ALL we need!
Prayer for the Day: Lord Jesus, Friend of sinners, thank you for giving us new life in You! Please help us to remember that even through tough things, You are still filling us with abundant love, faith and joy. We pray in Jesus name – Amen.
Personal Prayer: “Lord Jesus, You ask – “Who do you say that I am?” Lord, open my mind so I can understand who You are, and who I am in You.”
